The service was simply outstanding—attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to ensure we had the best possible experience. The afternoon tea itself was nothing short of exceptional. The food was of the highest quality—delicious, beautifully presented, and catering perfectly to both adults and children. It’s rare to find an establishment that caters so thoughtfully for kids without compromising on elegance or taste. My mum and the kids all had a fantastic time, and the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere made the celebration even more special. I have visited Cloud 23 Cocktail Bar Manchester multiple times, and it never disappoints. Every visit feels the same with consistent service and warm hospitality from the staff. The bar offers a high view of Manchester, which is stunning. The seating is comfortable, making it a relaxing experience. I always enjoy their fresh orange juice, which I order every time. This place is a must-visit and one of Manchester's iconic spots.
I have to say I was a little disappointed with the cloud 23 afternoon tea priced at £35 per person hence the 4 stars. Don't get me wrong it was an experience I have not had before and it was good, but some things could be better. We visited on a Monday afternoon and reserved a window seat for 2. Unfortunately, and I know the Hilton can't help this, but the majority of the view is glass towers and building works. We were seated with a little confusion. The seats were quite cramped. We paid the extra £20 for a gauranteed window seat, having never been before. Looking around it was not as clean as I would of expected from a Hilton. Dust above us on the sails. Dirty windows. The building works probably don't help. The service was good, person seating us a little confused. The person serving us very polite, but it was difficult to get anyone's attention during our time at the table. So most of the time, we drank cold tea. The food again was okay, nothing really sang, but nothing was horrible. Did I enjoy it? Yes, I was with my friend and it was a pleasant afternoon, eating nice things. Would I go again. No I don't think so.
